ITI Fitter is a course that is a part of the Mechanical Engineering branch that offers technical training related to different kinds of fitting work. The course’s syllabus predominantly involves the study of fittings like Structure Fittings, Machine Fitting, and Pipe Fittings, Hydraulics, Engineering drawings, Lathe Machines, etc. In Fitter ITI, students learn and master the techniques of fittings like pipe fittings, machine fitting, and structure fittings, fitting and assembling structural frameworks from materials like angle iron, I-beams, and plate steel, using hand-tools, and welding equipment, blueprint specifications, etc.

Documents Required
To apply for ITI Fitter, you need to attach the following documents with your admission form:
- Class 10th and 12th mark sheet
- Birth Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- ID Proof
- Domicile Certificate
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Application form filled on ( SCVT ) Portal.
The documents must be attested by gazetted officer or any authorized official, as the case may be. Also, the applicant must carry original documents along with photocopies while submission of application for authentication along with three passport size photographs.
Eligibility
The eligibility to take admission in ITI Fitter is as per norms of National Council for Vocational Training (N.C.V.T.), Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGET) New Delhi.
